vaping explained

Vaping is often defined as the act of inhaling vapor or e-liquid.

In order to do this you will need a personal vaporizer (e-cigarette). In this regard, vaping is similar to smoking, except without all the adverse effects.

You will not suffer from bad breath or bad smell, you'll have no need for ashtrays as there will be no cigarette butts. Also, you will no longer pose a fire hazard threat or affect others via second hand smoking.

What is vaping?

Vaping implies the use of a liquid. In this case, the liquid is the e-juice. The e-juice uses a PG (propylene glycol) or VG (vegetable glycerin) base, mixed with nicotine and food grade flavouring.

Who invented vaping?

The father of vaping is a Chinese pharmacist named Hon Lik. This is the big brain that decided to turn his father's untimely death into a source of inspiration. After losing his father to lung cancer from smoking, he decided to create a substitute for traditional cigarettes and therefore created the e-cigarette or vaporizer.

Initially, the invention was called Ruyan - it means "similar to smoke". This device proved to be a success and, as a consequence, it became popular enough to make its way to the U.S. in 2005.

How does a vaporizer work?

The vaporizer or electronic cigarette is made out of three components: inhaler, atomizer and battery. Basically, the battery powers the atomizer, that in turn heats the e-liquid and creates vapor that the user inhales.
